All of my illustration starts with paper and pencil and a good deal of handwork. I like to mix mediums and utilize Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

Wes Montgomery Illustration Sometimes I create an illustration to try out an idea or technique. I drew this illustration in Adobe Illustrator from a reference photograph of the famous Jazz guitarist Wes Montgomery. I wanted it to look like a wood block-print, with a limited color palette, and also utilize the "live-paint" tools in Illustrator. These are available as fine art prints for sale.
